Music Ministry

We worship with a blend of many styles of music at Parkway - Praise and Worship, Traditional Hymns, Gospel, Southern Gospel, and Contemporary Christian. It is our belief that it is the heart of the worshippers, not the style of music, that makes our worship pleasing and acceptable to the Lord. Our vision is to worship with passion, lifting up the Lord in spirit and in truth, so that during our services, the Holy Spirit may draw both the saved and the unsaved to Himself. Our music is not a statement, but a means to an end. That end is to glorify God, give Him pleasure, and give anyone who comes into one of our services the opportunity to draw closer to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

Celebration Choir - The choir helps lead worship each Sunday and does special music in some services. The choir also helps introduce new Praise and Worship songs to our congregation. We do two special programs each year, at Christmas and Easter. We sing with both tracks and live accompaniment from our church praise band. The choir practices each Wednesday evening from 6:30-8 p.m. and each Sunday morning from 9-9:25 a.m.

Celebration Praise Band - Our praise band  features piano, acoustic or electric guitar, flute and acoustic percussion. The live instruments are then blended with track instruments during the worship service. The band helps lead worship each Sunday. The band practices each Wednesday evening from 8:15-9 p.m. and each Sunday morning from 8:30-9:25 a.m.
